About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Guest Advocate to join our team at Target. As a Guest Advocate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our guests, and promoting our products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Service
    • Welcome and thank guests in a genuine way, creating a welcoming atmosphere in the store
    • Engage with guests to understand their needs and provide personalized assistance
    • Resolve guest concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Product Knowledge
    • Be knowledgeable about our products and services, including features and benefits
    • Assist guests in finding products and answering questions
    • Make recommendations to guests based on their needs and preferences
  • Operational Tasks
    • Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
    • Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining guest service and quality
    • Participate in visual merchandising and store maintenance tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Communication Skills
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and team members
    • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and in writing
  • Product Knowledge
    • Knowledge of our products and services, including features and benefits
    • Ability to learn and stay up-to-date on new products and services
  • Operational Skills
    • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
