The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Suites Runner to join our team at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Suites Runner, you will be responsible for expediting food from the kitchen to our guests in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Attend pre-shift briefings to receive important service information
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team and servers to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
  • Complete table-side service, including taking and delivering orders and explaining the menu to guests
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparations
  • Maintain kitchen and suites cleanliness and organization
Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience as a runner or busser in a fast-paced environment/restaurant setting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to interact with guests to assure guest satisfaction
  • Ability to interact with co-workers to ensure compliance with company service standards
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-orientated setting
  • Ability to lift and transport items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds
  • Ability to work mandatory venue events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) Certified
  • Current Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certification
Physical Requirements
  • Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
  • Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
  • Ability to lift to 35 pounds

Day shift, evening shift, event-based, holidays, and weekends
