Preschool Teacher Job Description

The Learning Experience is seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. As an ambassador of happiness, you will create opportunities every day that reflect our mission to make a difference in the lives of children, their families, and communities.

Responsibilities:
  • Classroom Environment: Create a welcoming and engaging classroom space that fosters learning, play, and growth for young children.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with their unique needs.
  • Communication: Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through various channels.
  • Team Collaboration: Support your center's success by partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  • Relationship Building: Build relationships with families and coworkers, creating a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 6 months of professional teaching experience preferred.
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required; College ECE coursework highly preferred.
  • Certifications: Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices; CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
  • State Requirements: Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
