About the Role
We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team at Visiting Angels. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in their homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide non-medical assistance and companionship to seniors, including personal care and hygiene assistance, household errands, and transportation to appointments.
- Monitor medication schedules and provide reminders throughout the day.
- Perform grocery shopping and meal preparation tasks, as well as light housekeeping.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- 6 months of caregiving experience.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must Be Able to Speak and Read English.
- Dementia Experience Preferred.
- Certified Nurse's Aide / HHA preferred.
- Ability to work in a facility environment preferred.
