Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Barfield Fence and Fabrication. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on our fleet of trucks, trailers, and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and repairs.
  • Conduct daily inspections of our equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Organize and maintain our tool room, ensuring that all tools are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Assist with the maintenance of our yard, including the organization of equipment and materials.
  • Provide technical support and assistance to other team members as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a forklift.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with fleet management and maintenance.
  • Basic/advanced automotive skills and small engine knowledge.
  • Forklift certification.
