Job Title: Bakery/Baker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bakery/Baker to join our team at Pismos Of Fresno LLC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare all bakery items following written recipes, ensuring accurate measurements and presentation.
  2. Assist the Pantry Chef in maintaining an efficient and productive kitchen environment.
  3. Decorate and finish cooked cakes, pies, and pastries to meet our high standards.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a clean and sanitary work area throughout the shift.
  5. Monitor pars and alert the pastry chef of any shortages to ensure seamless service.
  6. Work with the to-go counter to ensure all orders are complete and accurate.

Requirements:

  1. One year of pastry or baking experience in a bakery or restaurant.
  2. A valid Serve Safe Food Handler's Card.
  3. Experience in menu development is highly desirable.
  4. Cake and pastry decoration experience is required.
  5. Able to work weekends and special holidays.
  6. Ability to stand, bend, and lift 25 lbs.
