Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at US Tech Solutions. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and commercialization of new wearable diabetes care products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical circuits, including motors, sensors, batteries, microcontrollers, RF, analog, and digital components.
  • Design and develop test fixtures and perform circuit analysis and simulation.
  • Support integration activities with other teams, including Firmware, Software, Systems, Mechanical, Operations, and Quality.
  • Manage design tradeoffs on performance, risk, manufacturability, and cost.
  • Manage vendor relationships and lead technical reviews.
  • Lead activities related to IEC testing and write and perform engineering studies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of design and development experience in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with Design for PCB manufacturability, assembly, and testability.
  • Proficiency in using Lab Tools such as Oscilloscopes and Data Loggers.
  • Experience with UART, USB, I2C, and SPI.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of effective teamwork within a cross-functional team.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Experience with motors, sensors, batteries, microcontrollers, RF, analog, and digital components.
  • Experience with PCB and Schematic Design Software (Altium Designer Preferred).
  • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
  • Experience with high-volume PCB design/manufacturing.
  • Experience with Microchip and Silicon Labs Microcontrollers.
  • Experience with medical electrical safety standards (IEC).
  • Experience with FMEA and Hazard Analysis.
  • Experience with Fail-safe designs.
  • Experience with disposables.
  • Experience with wearable/portable devices.
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
