Job Summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Associate to join our team. As a Janitorial Services Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning restrooms.
  • Empty trash and replace can liners, sweep, dust mop, and wet mop floors.
  • Monitor and manage supplies, requesting additional supplies as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent not required.
  • Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping services is helpful but not required.
  • No professional certifications are required for this position.
  • The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
  • The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check and a federal background check.
Work Environment

The Janitorial Services Associate will work in a moderate work environment with occasional exposure to extreme atmospheric conditions. The associate may be required to lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
