Job Description:
A Salesperson at Hendrick Automotive Group is responsible for selling new or used vehicles to customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. This involves greeting customers, determining their vehicle preferences, explaining features, and demonstrating operations of vehicles in showrooms or on demonstration drives. The sales representative also suggests optional equipment for customers to purchase, computes and quotes sales prices, completes paperwork, arranges for delivery and registration, and engages in business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet dealership sales goals
  • Greet customers and determine make, type, and quality of vehicle desired
  • Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicle in showroom or on demonstration drive
  • Suggest optional equipment for customer to purchase
  • Compute and quote sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount
  • Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales
  • Arrange for delivery and registration of vehicle
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment
  • Engage in business development
  • Address customer concerns
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
  • Participate in required training
  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations
