The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Supervisory Tax Examining Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the examination process and ensuring that taxpayers comply with tax laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and assign work to subordinates, setting priorities and schedules for completion.
- Evaluate the performance of subordinates and provide guidance and training as needed.
- Provide advice and counsel to employees on work and administrative matters.
- Interview candidates for positions within the organization and recommend appointments.
- Resolve employee complaints and disciplinary issues.
- Identify developmental needs of employees and provide training and development opportunities.
To be eligible for this position, you must have at least one year of specialized experience in a management or leadership role, with experience in tax examination, compliance, or a related field. You must also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
