Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Coal Miner Mechanic Specialist to join our team at American Consolidated Natural Resources, Inc.

Salary: $31.915/hour

This role is based in Cameron, West Virginia and involves troubleshooting and repairing equipment on a continuous miner section.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient production of coal, as well as assisting in general work areas.

You will also be responsible for visually inspecting the work area for potential hazards and using body mechanics, equipment, and tools in a safe and responsible manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient production of coal and/or assistance in the production of coal in general work areas
  • Visually inspect work area for potential hazards
  • Ensure that body mechanics, equipment, and tools are utilized in a safe and responsible manner
  • Safely, effectively, and efficiently work and respond to changing conditions within the mine
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have two years' industrial maintenance experience and demonstrate mechanical aptitude.

You must also be 18 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED, and possess valid state issued Underground Electrical Certification and Underground Miner Certification.
