Financial Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled Personal Financial Counselor to provide expert financial guidance to military service members and their families at assigned installations. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve financial stability and security.

• Provide one-on-one counseling and consultation services to military service members and their families.
• Develop and deliver financial education programs, including workshops and briefings, to promote financial literacy and responsibility.
• Collaborate with installation and military branch Points of Contact to ensure program effectiveness and alignment with installation needs.
• Manage duty to warn situations according to Department of Defense protocol.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision and training to stay up-to-date on trends and issues affecting our clients.

• Bachelor's degree required; may consider applicants with an associate degree plus 4 years' experience or a high school diploma plus 6 years' experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English; bilingual in English and Spanish may be required by contract.
• Must have over 1,000 hours of financial counseling experience and one of the following certifications: Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), or Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
