Craftsman for Precision Tooling

Fidelis Holdings LLC is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. As a Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of activities, including the repair and creation of tools and equipment. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with different materials, such as metals, plastics, and special composites, to fabricate tooling and equipment.

• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Read and review ATCO drawings to manufacture tooling, gage, fixtures, and machine repair parts using available equipment.
• Support production by repairing and maintaining fixtures and tooling.
• Work with different materials to fabricate tooling and equipment.
• Responsible for making precision tools, dies, punches, form tools, gages, jigs, unique guides, fixtures, etc.
• Collaborate with process teams to identify requirements for equipment repairs and process improvements.
• Work in a planned and organized manner to complete tasks on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 1 year experience operating manual lathes, knee mills, grinders, and other manual equipment.
• High school diploma, GED, or standard grade from technical school.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Previous experience in toolmaker, manufacturing machinist, and tool room machinist roles.
• Basic geometric and math understanding.
• Experience working with metal parts.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Occasional exposure to electrical shock.
• Occasional exposure to extreme heat.

• Regularly required to stand, talk, and hear.
• Frequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
