Part-time Downsizer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-time Downsizer to join our team at Caring Transitions of Cumming, GA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping seniors and non-seniors make smooth and stress-free transitions from one living situation to another.

• Work on a team to downsize and relocate clients and liquidate unneeded items.
• Organize, pack, unpack, and resettle clients in their homes and in senior living communities.
• Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal, and clean-out.
• Use hand-held devices to create, photograph, and describe items.
• Sort, organize, research, label, and handle items for resale.
• Assist buyers during on-site pickup and sales.
• Stand for long periods, bend, lift up to 25 pounds, hang items at or above 4 feet, pack/unpack and label boxes, climb stairs. Carry supplies, items, and moving boxes to/from vehicles, within a home or outbuilding.

• Have consistently reliable transportation and a smartphone for scheduling, time keeping, photography, and executing general project duties.

• A competitive starting pay rate of $15.00 per hour

This is a part-time position with flexible schedules, perfect for individuals who want to earn extra income without committing to a consistent work schedule. You will work independently with minimal supervision, adapting to new situations, and effectively problem-solving. As our business provides services Monday-Friday during typical daytime business hours, we require that all Team Members have wide-ranging availability within that time frame.
