We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations to our residential properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimize disruptions to residents.
  • Conduct regular inspections of residential properties to identify potential issues and perform necessary repairs.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems, structural components, and appliances to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as painting, spackling, and electrical or plumbing work as needed.
  • Collaborate with management to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, and to develop and implement cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of three years of maintenance experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to work safely with hands and power tools, and to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
