The Next Generation Products team is accountable for all future New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives stemming from GE Aviation's investments in science and technology.
This role focuses on Engine Systems Design Integration (ESDI) for a major NPI initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct integration of components and products, ensuring optimal performance and operability across multiple systems.
- Manage product and system requirements, specifications, and their flow down.
- Lead validation and verification processes for the overall product/system, including system-level testing.
- Define product requirements for modules, components, subcontractors, and partner teams.
- Oversee interfaces between components and execution teams.
- Drive critical-to-quality (CTQ) and risk assessments within component design teams.
- Manage overall product configuration and configuration control systems.
Qualifications
- Active U.S. Government Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering (or a related discipline focused on mechanical or aerothermal design) from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in an engineering role.

- Highly motivated with sound engineering judgment and effective in a structured, cross-functional team environment.
- Engineering experience in GE Aviation turbomachinery systems integration or a similar systems engineering role.
This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Final offers will be contingent upon the ability to obtain authorization for access to such information from the U.S. Government.
