Rural Psychiatry Associates is a leading provider of mental health care services in rural and remote areas. We are currently seeking a skilled Licensed Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Implementing nursing care according to established practices under the direction of Psychiatrists, Physician Assistant, and Nurse Practitioner (mid-levels);
- Updating patient medication information and entering it into patient records;
- Effectively communicating with patients, guardians, insurance companies, psychiatrists, mid-levels, and pharmacies;
- Performing a wide range of clerical nursing support duties for the clinical team;
- Contributing to the ongoing assessment of patient/family/guardian needs and collaborating with psychiatrists and mid-levels to meet those needs;
- Protecting confidential information unless obligated by law to disclose it;
- Initiating and completing relevant documentation within organizational time frames;
- Following the chain of command for conflict resolution;
- Performing related duties as required.
Applicants must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of North Dakota, Minnesota, and Utah or have the ability to become licensed in those states upon hire.

Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Utah;

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records.
