We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join our team at Larson Design Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading technical projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality designs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Develop and implement design solutions that meet or exceed client expectations and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop strategies to overcome technical challenges.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, and contribute to the development of company-wide engineering standards and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes and company competitiveness.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and a minimum of 5 years of experience in water/wastewater engineering.
- Strong technical expertise in water/wastewater design, including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microstation/InRoads, and/or Hydrologic and Hydraulic Software Packages.
- Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
- Experience with project management software and tools, such as Asana, Trello, or MS Project.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and technologies, such as GIS, CAD, and BIM.
