Head Custodian Role - Morris Area Public Schools
Morris Area Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, proactive, and industrious individual to fill the position of full-time head custodian. This role is essential for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our educational community.
The successful candidate will undertake intermediate semi-skilled tasks including planning, coordinating, and supervising custodial staff. Responsibilities encompass cleaning and maintaining facilities and grounds, performing seasonal maintenance as required, and conducting boiler inspections while monitoring HVAC system readings. Additionally, the role involves setting up and dismantling materials for events.
Work will be conducted under the limited supervision of the Director of Building and Grounds. Candidates must be flexible with work hours, including weekends, possess the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and remain on their feet for extended durations.
