Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer 5 to join our team. In this role, you will design and develop complex power system plans, manage high-complexity electrical power system or energy projects, and conduct power system studies and perform electrical calculations.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • Under general direction, develop designs ranging from basic to highly complex for electric master system plans, power systems, protection and models, facility power systems, and sustainability/renewable energy systems.\
  • Proficiency in electrical design for water/wastewater projects.\
  • Manage high-complexity electrical power system or energy projects for various clients, including the U.S. Federal Government.\
  • Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to client RFPs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.\
  • Engage with current and potential clients to discuss their design needs and attend conferences to enhance the firms visibility alongside sales staff.\
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff, mentoring them for future growth within the firm.\
  • Supervise junior engineers on project work as needed.\
  • Perform additional duties as required.\

Minimum Qualifications:

  • \
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.\
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.\
  • 7 years of relevant experience.\
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required, depending on workload and project demands.\

Skills and Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge of computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software and practices.\
  • Advanced understanding of engineering design principles.\
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).\
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.\
