Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Patient Visit Coordinator to join our OB/Gyn department at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating patient care and providing exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and follow orders entered into the EHR by clinicians
- Schedule return visits, lab, radiology, STAT & ASAP appointments, and advanced imaging
- Obtain prior authorization/referral per payor protocols
- Validate patient MyChart access and print AVS as applicable
- Collect backend patient balances and communicate effectively with clinicians
- Perform appointment reminder calls and other duties as required
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 months experience in a clinical setting with significant MD interaction
- Proficiency in prior authorization/certification/referral process
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
