Traveling Registered Nurse

Uniti Med is seeking a skilled travel nurse to join our team in a telemetry nursing role.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate registered nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry setting. As a travel nurse with Uniti Med, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing interventions as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- At least 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, with flexibility to work varying schedules as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with the ability to obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification as needed.
