Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Eisenhower Health. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized plans of care to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Implementation and Evaluation: Implement and evaluate patient care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Patient Education and Discharge Planning: Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting self-care and independence, and coordinating discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree, or enrollment in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within one year of hire.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current California RN licensure, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, and preferred certification in specialty practice area.
  • Experience: Preferred experience in the area of specialty or higher acuity, or participation in internship programs.
