Mathematics Instructor

Bethel University seeks a highly qualified Mathematics Adjunct Faculty member to teach 100-level mathematics courses that fulfill a general education requirement and prepare students to take further mathematics, computer science, natural science, and engineering courses.

• Develop and deliver high-quality course materials, coordinate with department faculty as needed, and conduct and oversee all class activities.
• Administer assessments, provide feedback to students, and submit final course grades to the University Registrar.

• Clear and well-organized oral and written communication of mathematical concepts.
• Supportive mentoring of undergraduate students.

• Teaching experience at the undergraduate level within an institution of higher education.
• A Master's degree or Doctorate in a mathematics-related area, or a Master's degree in a different field with at least 18 credits of graduate-level work in mathematics.
