This role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, adhering to the Statewide Telework Policy, with the expectation of in-office attendance as necessary. Candidates must be residents of California.
Key Responsibilities
The Field Return-to-Work Coordinator (RTWC) collaborates with various statewide partners to support non-industrial disability claims, Workers' Compensation (WC), and the California Family Rights Act (CFRA). This position demands a robust work ethic, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. The RTWC must also be adept at interpreting and applying relevant laws, regulations, and departmental policies.
Essential Skills and Knowledge
The RTWC is expected to cultivate and sustain expertise in specific tasks, methodologies, tools, and equipment. Timely and efficient completion of assignments is crucial, along with strict adherence to departmental policies and procedures unique to the correctional environment.
