We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Renal Oncology Nurse to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients.
- Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers and coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments.
- Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, performing duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy service standards.
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of hire and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed.
- Physical requirements/demands: Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, as well as prolonged standing and walking each shift.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
