Adjunct Professor of Saxophone

Job Summary:
The Southeastern University School of Music is seeking multiple adjunct faculty members to teach applied lessons in the saxophone. This is a great opportunity for experienced musicians to share their expertise with students and contribute to the growth of the music program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach applied lessons in saxophone to students of varying skill levels
- Develop and implement curriculum for saxophone courses
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the growth of the music program
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a musical field or professional equivalent
- Experience teaching/performing standard orchestral and solo saxophone repertoire
- 1-2 years teaching at the collegiate level (TA positions included)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in a musical field
- Experience teaching music theory or history courses
