Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at Red Rock Job Corps Center. As an LPN, you will play a pivotal role in providing quality healthcare services to our students, promoting health education, and ensuring the health and safety of our diverse student population.

Responsibilities
  • Provide compassionate and competent nursing care to students, including medication administration, wound care, and routine health assessments.
  • Collaborate with students to promote health education, preventive care, and overall wellness. Conduct individual and group health education sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all students. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, assess situations, and provide prompt and effective care. Collaborate with emergency response teams as needed.
  • Work closely with the healthcare team, including physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate care and address the unique needs of students.
  • Actively participate in health promotion initiatives, including vaccination campaigns, health screenings, and wellness programs.
