About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Hilltop, West Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evaluating and treating communication disorders, as well as experience working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and caregivers. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing and diagnosing communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities. A key aspect of this role is documentation and record-keeping, ensuring that patient progress is accurately tracked and reported. Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and voice quality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and caregivers to coordinate patient care and treatment goals.
  • Document patient progress, maintain accurate records, and provide education to patients and their families.
