Geotechnical Engineer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and analyze data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to soil profiles.
  • Reduce and organize data to provide recommendations for foundation design.
  • Conduct on-site observations of excavation techniques and soil sampling.
  • Collaborate on the design of multiple geotechnical engineering projects.
  • Coordinate and execute projects with geotechnical staff.
  • Work with project management teams to monitor progress and implementation of initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • PE or EIT certification.
  • Project experience with bridges, roadways, retaining walls, slopes, and embankments, buildings, and various methods of ground improvements.
Preferred Skills:
  • Microsoft Suite.
  • gINT.
  • Geotechnical analysis software experience is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:

$75,000 - $100,000 per year.
