Responsibilities

  • Wash Dishes, Glassware, Flatware, Pots, and/or Pans using Dishwashers or by Hand
  • Properly and Safely Load and Unload the Dishwashing Machine
  • Stock Supplies such as Food and Utensils in Serving Stations, Cupboards, Refrigerators, and Salad Bar
  • Maintain Kitchen Work Areas, Equipment, and Utensils in Clean and Orderly Condition
  • Delime Washing Machine and Handle Chemicals, while being HACCP Compliant
  • Place Clean Dishes, Utensils, and Cooking Equipment in Storage Areas
  • Transfer or Move Equipment throughout the Kitchen
  • Use Sanitizer Test Strips and Monitor Temperature of all Washing Liquids
  • Sweep and Scrub Floors
  • Occasionally Clean and Prepare various Foods for Cooking and Serving
  • Follows Safety and Sanitation Procedures with all Guidelines from OSHA, Department of Public Health and Risk Management

Requirements

  • Previous Experience in a High-Volume Full-Service Kitchen a Must
  • Food Handler Certification
  • The Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • The Knowledge of using Dishwashing Equipment
  • The Determination to work Safely
  • Must pass SCREENING and BACKGROUND check.
