Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator/ Swing Shift to join our team at Foster Farms. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, ensuring product flow, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up machines prior to shift start-up and adjust as necessary for changes due to production type.
  • Attend to and adjust machines during operation to ensure product flow through the machines.
  • Monitor machines for any mis-cuts of product due to improper settings.
  • Notify Maintenance Supervision of any machine malfunctions or required repairs.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping and assist other plant personnel in various areas of the plant as needed.
  • Assist maintenance in repairs and overhauls.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.

Working Conditions

This is a swing shift position, working 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety protocols.
