- Team Leadership: Supervise and train veterinary technicians, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Patient Care: Prepare patients for surgery, maintain a sterile environment, and monitor anesthesia.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory of medical supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and cost-effective ordering.
- Client Communication: Interview pet owners to obtain patient history, administer medications, and provide at-home dosage instructions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including vital signs, treatments, and test results.
- Certification: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent certification.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to multitask, and a love for animals.
