Speech-Language Pathologist Opportunity in New Mexico

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality services to students in our New Mexico schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome communication challenges and promoting language development.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to develop and implement effective communication strategies.
  • Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress to ensure students meet their communication goals.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Evaluate the communication skills of referred students and diagnose speech and/or language disorders.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address identified communication needs.
  • Offer support and training to teachers for classroom communication to ensure a supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Doctorate Degree in Communication and Sciences Disorders or Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology License.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
