Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in implementing and supporting cutting-edge Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) technologies at Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio (Cleveland metro area).

Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional healthcare solutions, and we are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join us in this endeavor. As a Healthcare IT Specialist, you will work closely with our team to define, document, and manage scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables, and acceptance testing criteria for clinical projects and production systems with a primary focus on Nursing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide support to internal users of Oracle Applications and legacy applications, ensuring maximum efficiency in their use.
  2. Respond to requests for support by users, test and coordinate testing of new releases of Oracle Applications, and log bugs against applications.
  3. Monitor future applications releases, train users on features of applications, and maintain applications responsibilities based on work group of user.
  4. Act as a reporting resource and represent users at Data Center meetings, user meetings at quarter end, and whenever necessary.

Requirements:

  • Detailed knowledge and track record of successfully implementing and/or optimizing Oracle (Cerner) Millennium Nursing applications.
  • Experience using Oracle (Cerner) Millennium Nursing applications as an end user is preferred.
