About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a casual employment capacity. As a RN with Grand Lake Health System, you will have the opportunity to work on various patient care units and shifts, providing direct care to patients and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Delivery of Patient Care: You will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the Nursing Process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Patient Teaching and Education: You will direct and guide patient teaching and activities of Nursing Ancillary Personnel, placing the patient at the center of care practices.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You will collaborate and interact positively with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: You may be required to work other patient care units or shifts according to distribution of staff, patients, and/or patient acuity.

Requirements

  • Availability and Flexibility: You must be available to work weekends and holidays as required and demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.

Education and Certifications

  • Nursing Education: You must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold a current RN or LPN license. A BSN is preferred.

Experience

  • Previous Experience Preferred: While previous experience is preferred, it is not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off, we also offer opportunities for professional growth and development.
