Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to assess, recommend, and implement mine dewatering activities. This will involve working closely with contractors and skilled trades to maintain infrastructure and ensure efficient water management systems. Strong field and interpersonal skills are required for success in this position.

This position involves a range of responsibilities, including:

• Weekly field visits to inspect and collect data from dewatering infrastructure
• Weekly meetings with key site stakeholders to discuss dewatering and surface water management
• Designing, planning, and leading the construction of new dewatering infrastructure
• Coordinating with contractors and skilled trades to ensure successful project execution

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A B.S. degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
• At least 1-4 years of experience in the mining industry
• Strong knowledge of surface and groundwater water management for mining
• Excellent computer skills and familiarity with industry-standard water modeling software suites
