We are seeking energetic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Scream Actors - Event Performers at Carowinds. As a Scream Actor, you will be responsible for scaring and entertaining guests in a unique and thrilling way.

• Scare guests without touching them, using the element of surprise to create a thrilling experience.
• Entertain guests as a costumed character, bringing the personality of the character to life through hand and body movements, and strong vocalization.
• Develop unique gestures and movements for the character.
• Wear a complete costume provided by Carowinds, and do not switch costume pieces with other characters.

• Be energetic and dedicated to providing a thrilling experience for guests.
• Have good judgment and remain safety conscious at all times.
• Be able to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Have a passion and excitement about Carowinds and the role of a Scream Actor.
• Be able to demonstrate strong vocal tones and basic acting ability.
• Be able to scream and speak before large groups of people.
• Be able to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations.
• Be able to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up.
• Be able to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.
• Be available to work some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
