Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

ChristianaCare is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, as well as PET/CT procedures. You will work closely with physicians to diagnose and treat diseases, and will be expected to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT scans
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including NRC and state licenses
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance tasks as defined by department protocols
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform injections as needed
  • Assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)(N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Licensed by State of Delaware Authority on Radiation Protection and/or State of Maryland
  • BLS certification
