Salary and BenefitsWe offer one of the highest and most competitive compensation plans in the industry, with an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $100,000+ per year. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, and 401k options, providing our staff with peace of mind and financial security.
Job DescriptionAs a Personal Trainer with Equinox, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Building and maintaining an active client base
- Managing and maintaining an accurate schedule, inclusive of client appointments, meetings, and open availability within our internal scheduling systems
- Marketing and selling personal training programs to members and/or clients through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions
- Maintaining knowledge of all club services, programs, and products
You will also be responsible for executing fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other complimentary services for members, interacting with members to enhance their workouts and overall club experience, creating and coaching personalized programs for both in-person and virtual clients, and maintaining an organized and safe fitness floor during shifts and sessions.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through certification reimbursement program
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Possess passion, ambition, drive, and knowledge regarding fitness
- Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful
