We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our CNC machines and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on CNC machines, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Install, service, and repair machine control components, including motor drives, controllers, sensors, and power supplies.
- Locate and resolve root causes of problems using sound troubleshooting methods to minimize downtime.
- Install, service, and repair power transmission components, including drives, bearings, gears, belts, and chains.
- Install, service, and repair hydraulic systems, including tanks, pumps, valves, piping, and controls.
- Perform installation, service, and repairs to buildings, facilities, and grounds, including doors, windows, guard rails, and fencing.
- Provide clear communication with supervisors and production regarding equipment status and release to production.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of machine files, repair files, and inventory management.
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic machines.
- Demonstrated experience in electrical and/or electronic and mechanical maintenance, including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, and power transmission.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical parts manuals, and electrical and mechanical diagrams.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, with knowledge of industrial communication and protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet/exceed performance parameters.
