About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Geriatric Psychotherapist to join our team at Senior Care Therapy. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality psychotherapy services to seniors in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with our treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for seniors with complex mental health needs.
- Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions to seniors, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
- Conduct initial assessments and follow-up sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Document all sessions and treatment plans in our electronic medical record system.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress and share best practices.
- Master's or doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D., Psy.D., or Ed.D.) in the state where you will be practicing.
- Experience working with geriatric populations and treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with seniors, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
