About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician to support our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care at HCA Florida Blake Hospital.


Key Responsibilities

As a Cardiovascular Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing emergency procedures associated with catheterization procedures, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
  • Collecting accurate data and participating in the patient's care in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Prioritizing resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
  • Assisting in data collection related to cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, and peripheral vascular status.
  • Documenting findings and reporting abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • LPN one year experience with Critical Care course within one year of hire or one year Cath Lab experience or one year RCIS or CVT or Graduate of accredited RCVT program.
  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN), or Emergency Medical Paramedic (EMP), or Work Experience in lieu of Degree.
