Job Summary:

This is a 13-week contract position with the possibility of extension. As a Correctional Healthcare Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing medical care to inmates, including medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to inmates, including medication administration, immunizations, admissions, and emergency first aid
  • Conduct health assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements:
  • Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner License or Compact State Nursing License
  • Minimum 1-year prior nursing experience
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • Corrections nursing experience is a plus
