Job Summary

R E Garrison Trucking Inc is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our trailers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including engine overhauls, transmission replacements, and brake system repairs.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with trailer systems, including electrical, hydraulic, and suspension systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient and effective repairs.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices for trailer maintenance and repair.
Requirements
  • Degree in Diesel Mechanics or related field preferred.
  • Minimum one year of experience in trailer maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
