Hours: 38 hours per week

Reports to: Principal

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons to students in a classroom setting.
  2. Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
  3. Develop and implement curriculum programs that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve student outcomes.
  5. Participate in professional learning and development to stay current with best practices in education.
  6. Contribute to the development of school policies and programs.
  7. Supervise and support student teachers and interns.
  8. Perform other duties as required by the Principal.

Requirements:

  1. Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  2. Relevant teaching qualifications and experience.
  3. Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
