Job Summary

As a key member of the Prisma Health team, the Nurse Manager for Perioperative Services will be responsible for directing activities and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care services. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement policies, practices, and programs that support quality care and regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate budget development and financial planning for Perioperative Services, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost-effective quality care.
  • Collaborate with Medical Director, Administrator, and CNO to develop and gain approval for clinical service strategies aligned with Prisma Health's mission, vision, and values.
  • Lead interdisciplinary performance improvement programs, ensuring active maintenance and ongoing focus on providing excellent clinical services.
  • Perform human resource management functions, including interviewing, hiring, evaluating, counseling, and terminating staff, while fostering an empowered workforce.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, including DHEC, JCAHO, and AORN.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • 5 years of acute care nursing experience, including at least 1 year of perioperative services progressive management experience
  • RN - Registered Nurse - NLRN
  • Licensed South Carolina - Registered Nurse
Preferred Qualifications
  • MSN - Master of Science in Nursing
  • CNOR or CPAN - Certified Nurse Operating Room or Certified PeriAnesthesia Nurse
