Position Overview

HotRun Inc. is seeking a seasoned Reliability Engineer to enhance the dependability of our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on optimizing the reliability of machinery, utilities, and critical systems through the application of Reliability Centered Maintenance principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement Root Cause Analysis methodologies to enhance equipment performance in a dynamic, fast-paced cGMP environment.
  • Measure reliability metrics and demonstrate the effectiveness of improvements.
  • Lead reliability initiatives that require both independent and collaborative decision-making.
  • Support daily departmental operations while overseeing projects and the long-term management of equipment lifecycles.
  • Deliver compliant and robust engineering solutions aimed at improving system and equipment reliability and efficiency based on operational best practices.
  • Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA).
  • Drive Reliability Centered Maintenance Improvement (RCM) projects across various domains.
  • Develop maintenance strategies, plans, SOPs, parts lists, BOMs, and schedules for new and modified equipment.
  • Manage asset lifecycle effectively.
  • Provide essential support to production and facility teams to address compliance issues and ensure equipment reliability.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a strong grasp of engineering and maintenance functions.
  • Review engineering specifications and propose design modifications to enhance reliability while adhering to cost and performance criteria.
  • Participate in audits and provide subject matter expertise during equipment design reviews and selection processes.
  • Analyze corrective work orders and Quality Event Metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Engage in FAT and commissioning of new and modified equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Develop business cases for improvements requiring capital investments and participate in planning for assigned areas.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to develop engineering solutions for recurring failures and other operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with the company's Safety Program and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned by senior management.
