The Certified IV Compounding Pharmacy Technician III plays a crucial role in supporting pharmacists to deliver safe, efficient, and cost-effective pharmaceutical services.

This position operates under limited supervision, ensuring smooth workflow, managing inventory, handling billing, and overseeing other intricate pharmacy operations. Additionally, this role encompasses ownership of a specialized area.

Allied Health Professionals

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepares both hazardous and non-hazardous IV medications, ensuring precision and accuracy.

2. Maintains comprehensive documentation of all activities in Simplify, including routine cleaning tasks.

3. Aids pharmacists in the preparation of medications by organizing, labeling, and managing prescriptions.

4. Assists in the upkeep of inventory levels.

5. Oversees pharmacy workflow, including the ordering and receipt of pharmaceuticals and supplies.

6. Acts as a mentor for the training and onboarding of new team members.

7. Leads initiatives for process enhancement and departmental quality improvements.

8. Undertakes additional responsibilities as reasonably assigned.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED - MUST BE CERTIFIED THROUGH PTCB OR NHA

EDUCATION:

Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 5 years of relevant experience
