Facilities Caretaker

Estimated Salary: $19,490 - $23,110 per year.

The Facilities Caretaker is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of the school building. This includes shoveling and salting walks, driveways, and steps, as well as reporting any damage or safety hazards to the head custodian.

Duties:
  • Assists in keeping the grounds free from rubbish.
  • Empties all trash cans daily.
  • Complies with all Federal, state and local laws and regulations for the storage, use and disposal of trash, rubbish, waste and hazardous material.
Working Conditions:The Facilities Caretaker will be required to work outdoors during winter months and may be exposed to extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
